Hello.
I see a common mistake here.
When looking up parts numbers on bikebandit, Kawasaki, or wherever, there are two numbers, the actual part number and the diagram reference number.
People often mistake the diagram reference number which tends to be the same for many years with the part number.
As an example, this is bikebandits numbers:
13095: (diagram reference number)
HOUSING-COMP-CLUTCH
763914 ***This is the part number***
(546125-001) $297.32
1990 KX250(KX250H1)
1991 KX250(KX250H2)
13095: (diagram reference number)
HOUSING-COMP-CLUTCH
763918 *** This part number does not match the 90-91***
(546129-001) $284.67
1992 Kawasaki KX250(KX250J1)
1993 Kawasaki KX250(KX250J2)
If you got to Kawasaki's site, you will see the actual factory part number and the diagram reference number.
Here is the numbers for the baskets.
91kx250 13095 (diagram reference number) 13095-1206 (part number) HOUSING-COMP-CLUTCH
92kx250 13095 (diagram reference number) 13095-1240 (part number) HOUSING-COMP-CLUTCH
As you can see the part numbers are different.
This does not mean that the parts won't interchange.
It simply means that there is something different, ie color, style, casting, supplier ect.
Hope this takes some of the mystery out of this.
