Ok guys. I went ointo the garage and looked at the rear brake. I took the return spring off. Then I unbolted the plunger cylinder thing off ofthe frame. Then I disconnected the plunger from the pedal and the plunger moves perfect! The issue is that the rear brake pedal part that goes into the frame and is held by that brad clip is not moving. I tried hammering out the brake pedal from the frame but its not coming out..So now we know the cylinder and plunger is good. But the pedal is not moving in the frame. I tried wd40 and hammering it out and it just wont come out. Ill try more...Thanks

 Now we're getting somewhere..

If I'm understanding you correctly the pin coming off the frame that supports the brake lever has something holding the brake pedal assembly from moving freely.

There is a cotter pin (#4)  are some  washers (#2) and (#5) on the inside of the frame holding the brake pedal assembly on.
Remove the cotter pin, pull the washer off and the brake assembly should come off.
(Sorry I can't post the pic, right click on the link and open a new window)

Thanks Crazy,  But your obviously not the Crazy one here!

Chris

It would expand, but if the heat gets to the inner piece,
it will push on the outer making it larger.
then let them cool-  they may come apart then.
don`t get them red hot,  just heat them up a little.
  good luck,
I am guessing the peddle is aluminium and the "post" is steel.
the steel needs more heat for the same reaction.
if you can GENTLY warm just the peddle it may pop apart.
Again, I`m guessing on what the materials are

Hey guys,

I put all the decals on the yz except for a few that looked really bad on it like the front fender curve that says the website name...and there were 2 others of the same that I cant find where they go...I have to go to a doctors well visit since it was just my birthday so when I get back I will try to repair the rear brake...Thanks

I'm wondering why the brake won't slide off... Does it look like it got hit by a rock, or is it just rusted on there Chris?
Something is certainly fishy here...
Hope all went well with The DR.    School is just around the corner I hope you can get this stuff worked out before then.

Hey, You don't have to put the amount out there, go back and edit that out please.
Besides you are gonna send me back the ones don't need Right?   You only pay for the ones you keep.
plus I sold another chainsaw, so my Honey won't be missing any of the money, and if I pay it back in 30 days there is no interest
I certainly don't have alot of money but am willin' to share what we do have.
My wife and daughter are not having to "do without" so I can do little things like sending on the jets or what ever.   I only have a few rules to live by my Boss gave me in a Book it's MY Service Manual,  The Acronym Spells out Believers Instructions Before Leaving Earth or BIBLE  :-D

Now back to the task at hand...
Look around your house for a small magnifying glass, those pilot jet #'s are hard to read.
Check you notes on the size of the pilot for the KX.  I got one size smaller and two larger, (I think)
Put the next size larger and warm up the bike.
Give me a call after 8:00 my time and we'll go from there.
Basically it's just better or worse senario just like before.
I think you said you printed out one of the sheets for jetting and have it in the garage... That's what we need to follow.
Rats it's 2:35 Got to sleep,

Hey Tuck,

Sorry for the amount! I edited it out...That was the plan for me to send back the ones I didnt use and pay for the ones I did use!

So your saying go in the garage, read what pilot the kx has in it and put the next size larger and start it up and you will automatically see if it worked? Thanks
