KX500 lawnmower?

It runs. After a year building the machine it fired up today.
Never had something like a 500 motor.
And d**n,it's realy a beast..  :-o
Few things to take care of. The plating makes so much noise do to the vibrations i can't hear the engine.
The stroke of the trotle (pedal) is to small. Makes it very nerves to ride with..

that's crazzzzy. i would love to slap some paddles on the thing and hit the dunes. can you all imagine that thing ripping a bowl at your fav dune spot.

Glad to see it coming together for you finally! I am very curious on your pipe, it looks like you had to take out a good amount of the lead in pipe/header length & also on the outlet pipe length to make it fit. Do you know how much you had to take out? I will also assume this will rev unlike most big 500's.

I had to shorten the tailpipe.
And i did cut the exhaust in sections. On the welds..
Shifted/turned them aroud a bit to get i right. Not much,but just a bit.
I think it didn't efect the performance much.
It's a Pro Circuit platinum btw.

This is a prototype.
Just to get the hang of it.
Me and my "two stroke mentor" are working on a complete homebuild engine.
Wil be a 6 cylinder boxer two stroke.
Using 6 KX85 cylinders. Wil be 100cc each.
Hope to get 180 to 200hp. And than a snowmobile vario drive.
Got 4 cyliners and 5 cranks at the time. So 2 cylinders and 1 crank to go.
Than we wil start casting the engine cases..
I wil make a topic when there is something to show with pictures..
