Life has finally calmed enough to allow me time to build my ride!

Gray Hammer Tone powder coat looks cool! More parts today!

Martinfan,
The frame looks great & I really like the color. Make sure that you sand down to bare metal where the coil mounts & run a tap thru the treads, otherwise you will have a ground, but it will cause some headaches in the future. I would also recommend at least one motor mount be sanded down also to ground the motor. I found all this out to be important after my first frame that I had powdered many years ago & have made sure I do it on all my frames now even if they have not been powdered.
Keep us updated on your progress!

Thanks for the tip DOLDGUY. They used rubber plugs in all the holes, worked well to keep paint out of the threads.

Roostdaddy, thanks! The FJ40 is a 69, diff locks, lift, winch... A real crawler!

Just got these back today... Gray powder coat on the swingarm for my custom decals I got from an idea on here. Silver Hammer Tone on the kicker, rear brake lever, and various brackets and covers. Looks killer!  Cant wait to assemble!

Thanks bro! Ya its all baked on powder coat, 400 degrees I think.

It's a company called "Alltizer", it's in Moundhouse Nevada just outside of Carson City. They do excellent work and so far, for the frame, and all the stuff above it's been 200 bucks.

Couldn't help myself... Got a smoking deal on a new FMF Gnarly Dez pipe. 100 less than retail. Just has a couple small scratches.
