1.  Align the groove in the actuator with the piece on the rod internally.  This is the rod that sticks out the front.

2.  Put the actuator (round thing with gear and spring) in the side cover so the gear is in toward the center of the motor.  Assemble.  You may need to turn the crank so the gears line up and wiggle the side cover.  It not the easiest thing to get lined up.

Clear as mud???

not quite muddy enough :). So the actuator comes out and attaches to the rod and then I install? I didn't know the actuator came off. It stay on during disassembly so I guess I just pull it, hook it to the rod, and slide it all together with plenty of wiggling? I'll try tonight and let youguys know. Thanks!

It worked like a charm. THe bike is back together. Now I just need some oil and premix and i'm ready to roll...Thanks again!
