Really no hydraulic clutch?
« on: July 14, 2010, 07:24:34 PM »
Hi!

Is there really no hydraulic clutch system that fits a kx250?
i found nothing from magura and the hebo clutch doesn?t seem to fit ral good, according to some threads here.

Has anyone tried systems from other bikes or knows which one works best?

thx

According to this link, the Magura of the Kawa and Suzi thumpers also works on the kx250.
Unfortunately not for my 04, but that could be a glimmer of hope?!

Is this the hebo system that was already mentioned here?
Is 990m Tube length enough?

The lever doesn?t look very good to me...

Magura jack clutch is made for the 04, I had two of them now, didn't like either time, very little adjustment, sicks out too far. because of the limited rod length, you can set it so it either slips, or doesn't fully disengage. ease of lever pull wasn't anywhere near what a ktm is, a little easier, yes, worth the money? IMO NO! went back to cable, motionpro lined cable with MSR Raptor ez-pull lever, works great!
If you think you can, or if you think you can't...your right!
