Its moments like this that makes me Truly Appreciative of our service men & women who have or is serving this Country so everyone can live as we do. The loss of a Husband, Father, Son & Friend is the ultimate cost for someone to pay that I might sit here safely, on this forum & for protestors to have their rights (I wished they would think about that & how it is afforded to them).
My thoughts & prayers to his family this evening.
Its Never too Late to Have a Happy Childhood!

something i wrote after 911

yellow ribbon around the heart of hope.

We live a life and wounder why .Then out of nowhere we hear a solder died.
We think what did i do to deserve the love of someone i never knew.

There are so many that give everyday and one is too many to have their life taken away.    Who am i to ask this of you . For everything that you do !

Our paths may never cross , yet we shall meet at the cross.    So may LORD
hold you in HIS hand and lead you in the right way to protect this land.

Some may do this to protect their family and friends of many or few and never know how much they do .      So to all the solders we will never meet . your life is precious your love so sweet. may you come home soon and never know defeat.

PLEASE COME HOME TO THOSE YOU WENT TO PROTECT AND THOSE YOU MAY NEVER MEET !

 Stewart,
Having lost a son at an early age, these kind of stories always dredge up some  bad memories and at the same time become very sobering.  How fragile we really are, how quickly it can all change, and what really is important to us.
Like a whisp of steam  off a cup of coffee we're here for such a short time, really.
How long ago was it you guys were swiping gas from Mr. CNC's tractor to run your bikes for just one  more run...probly seems like it could have been just yesterday.
I don't think I can  write something that  will make you feel any better..  But I can tell you it hurts less as time clicks by.
Be grateful for  the time you did have together, and make sure the folks who you have time with now, will be grateful for the time they had with you.
You know I don't believe this is all there is, I'll be putting in a good word for you with
   "The Master Machinist".

Sorry to hear about your friend Stewart, this is real stuff and happens every day. I know I am grateful for our troops, and pray these wars could end soon.
The protestors just want the wars to be over, but to protest at a funeral is so so wrong.
May God Bless John Cleavers family and friends in this time of sorrow.
