I just found a Google Earth Feature that is new to me! I am planing another dune trip and I found a new feature. If you zoom in on a any place you can then got to 'Tools" and pull down to " Flight Simulator", then you can fly around the area you are interested in!
Also you can go to
http://www.duneguide.com/index.htm and click on Odds & Ends and chose the Google Earth Interface and download all the sand dunes in the world. You first have to have Google Earth installed and then it is automatically installs pins and info links about all the dunes. That is if you are a "Dune Freak" like me!
