ok guys i know some of you race your sumo's but this may intrest you continental tire makes a 17inch slick that the public can buy this is what continental had to say about there slicks    Slicks for racing and track days (NHS).

? Revolutionary front tyre technology, for transparent feedback during braking for corners

? High lateral grip from the Black Chili compound makes extreme g-forces possible at maximum lean angles

? Unique rear tyre design gives maximum contact patch for better traction during acceleration

? Continuous Compound Technology ensures high mileage, for endurance racing or track days

Continuous Compound-Technologie:
Makes it possible to use an homogeneous grip grading with a single compound thanks to a temperature controlled curing of the tyre during the production process

Shoulder area, flexible = Grip
Zenith area, wear resistant = Mileage
Continuous transition
