Where to buy jets?
« on: May 22, 2009, 10:57:55 AM »
Is there a dealer which sells genuine keihin jets? I tried to purchase them from Sudco, but they only could sell me jets in packs of four. I dont do anything with 4 pcs of same size jet. I really cant find any dealers for good jets. Any help is appreciated!  :|

Most of  my local dealers have a jet box with assorted sizes, I also have had to buy four at a time from Sudco when I needed them. The Kawi dealer can order them one at a time. .And my last source is a local racer, who lets me into his stash of jets. There is a guy on ebay who sells jets and you get to pick the size, but I have never tried him yet.
One of the catalogs, I think Chapperal has a large list of available jets too.
Hope you find what you need, without a lot of trouble.

Just know which carb you have.  Where are you?  I just picked up a 55 and 58 pilot from Fun Bike Center in San Diego last Sunday.

Well the problem is im in other continent. I live in Europe. Here just doesn't seem to be any dealers for jets. I have Keihin PWK 35 carb.
I tried to order jets manually from motorcyclecarbs.com, lets see what happens. Anyone just wont sell me jets individually, i need to order them in 4 pcs. or so.

I just clicked on Chapparal Motorsports and they have Keihin jets for less than four dollars each. Do a search for Chapparal and click on off road, click on fuel systems, then click on jets, click on Keihin and you are there.
Dont you have motorcycle shops and dealers in Europe ?  Where are you ?

The main jet is the same as the FCR that are used on most 4 strokes. The KTM dealer near has sold me any and every one that I have ever asked for. The stock jet in the KX450F a 175.

Ok thanks mates! My local dealers only sell crappy aftermarket jets. Yes we do have all kinds of stores and shops, just couldnt found any jets for Keihin. Plenty of Mikuni dealers though..
