Have not seen a May issue at the store yet. Will stop by Barnes & Noble this evening to see if they have it. Breifly read the 2 stroke vs 4 stroke article in Transworld this month. Jason Lawrence was 2 seconds (average) a lap faster on the 2 stroke than the 4 stroke and 4 seconds a lap faster on his fastest time, all on a very short course. :-D Good read also on the parts cost of maintaining the bikes.

Oh Yeah AJ

Congrats on the Article and Cover!! :-o

I read it in Wal-Mart yesterday.  Very nice writeup.  They state that the KX pretty much owns the CR  :-D but we new that right? 8-)

Anyway, unfortunately, they went on to say the 4 srtoke trumps the 500 though, but I found it unclear as to why...

They did change some things on the bike to adjust suspension and geometry to make it handle better, but said it was normal stemming from the stock KXF250s parts.  Gonna add these aftermarket parts in the future AJ?

All in all it was great publicity for AJ and the mighty K5, and other than that silly 4 poke comment, it was a good article.

It was a good honest ride report.  They favored the thumper because it's easier to ride...means faster around a track.  The bike clearly needs some suspension work, but that's all a very small price to pay for the total package.

Be sure to tell MXA how much you enjoyed the article!

I've read it twice now and LOVE IT!!!!!
Yeah they say there are some miner things but thats mxa!!!
They always change tripple clamps or rear link system AND suspension settings, springs on KXF. Making it a Pro-Circuit race bike. Well there are just some Kawasaki trade offs. And I always thought that MXA was a cr500 fan, not K-5!!
Atleast they have the balls to test the bike and to etmit they LOVE IT!!!!

"Who killed the 500 class" is a good story to read, not that it happend!!!
