hello everbody
im new to this board and to the kx 500 but not to kawasaki i have a 1990 kx 500 and a 2005 zx636r (that is for sale by the way) my first bike when i was 10 was a 1978 kx 70 then i had a 1986 kx 80 then i tried some other brands cr 250 yz 125 yz 490 took a small brake (life happens wife kids etc) now my son is 4 and i have him rideing a mini quad and i first got a yz 250 and i was rideing with all these 4 stroke guys with the 450r's so being i am a 2 stroke lover i will not give in to the 4 stroke pressure so i bought the ultimate dirt bike
the widow maker, the dessert king, the monster, the holly #!$%& what did you do to that motor!!! bike. so being that i bought a 19 year old bike it needed some work as you can c if you look under KX500 maintenace tread title need help just bought kx 500. but that is okay that is part of the charm i guess anyway. i thank everybody that has helped me allready and look forward to hear about new ideas about what i can do to this bike to make it 100%. im from cali by the way.
