I went for a ride on my buddy's 2006 KTM 450 fourstroke. What a ride!! The suspension was perfect for the trailriding I do. The front end NEVER felt like it was going to wash out. That is a feeling I almost never have with my 500. My 500 is harsh, unforgiving, and under sprung.

I bought new springs and seals and oil from Race tech, and someone with lots of experience is going to do the rework. I hope it doesn't need a valve job. That is another 300+ for front and rear. I hope it comes close to the KTM I rode yesterday. It sure was a good feeling on good suspension.
