suzuki 450 with k5 motor

just wondering if anybody has tried using a suzuki rolling chassis and put a k5 motor in it .I can purchase a 2006 rmz 450 complete except motor for really cheap just wondering if it would be possible

 Ya its possible. Ive got a k5 in an old lt250 quadracer frame. Its a load of fun, go for it.

here it is, i hope it works im not real good at this computer stuff. The quad isnt pretty cause its still a work in progress. I was told i would break the frame, but no breaks yet. Plan is to strip it down this winter and gusset it and paint the frame. I want to work up a new pipe also.

It should work out well.  I have seen pics of the RMZ chassis used for a number of motor transplants. Cam.

Thanks. like i said its a work in progress. Cant ride bikes anymore due to to many injuries, so this is the next best thing. I hope to get it looking better slowly as finances dictate.

If you look in my Gallery theres some protos I found on the net a while ago of an RM Suzuki with a KX 500 engine in it.

I don't know anything about it though and can't even remember where I found the pics :oops:

Sorry to say but this is a 04/06  RMZ250. 450 have alu frame.

I did mean that pic, sorry I wasn't sure if he meant the aluminium framed ones or not.

No worries, I didn't knoiw the full details of that bike and didn't know if it was a 250 chassis of a 450.

AF going well, great stuff :-D
