not moto related but skydiving
« on: November 27, 2008, 11:45:52 AM »
so i'm thinking of going skydiving on the 16th of december to celebrate a very important anniversary. that day if everything goes as planned i will have accumulated 365 days of chemical free living and i figured i'd see if anybody my way is interested in joining me. i'm near pittsburgh and the price of tandem jumps is $229.

That is awesome, I am very happy for you! I too struggle with chemical dependency in a pretty bad way and am still very young in my struggle for sobriety. It is a very difficult challenge and I am very happy to hear that you have been successful. It does feel nice to not have every day revolve around getting to your next drink or fix. Congratulations my friend! My hat's off to you.

Right on Knut your going to love it.  Make sure you spring for a video or pictures its worth the extra $.  I've done a few jumps myself.  Its actually quite tame the real anxiety is when your at the door ready to jump.

Hope your sky dive is great. Does that mean on December 15, I have to jump 12 times for twelve years ?
