Whats this worth

01 kx250, siezed, also needs extras like tires, chain sprokets ect. Plastics and cosmetics look alright. Sold as is. I figure $500 or so...? Has a fmf gold series pipe too.

n/m too d**n far away. $500 is a decent deal depending on how siezed it is.

Well I brought it home today, paid a bit more then i wanted but the rest of the bike seemed good. Also its a 2000, not an 01.
Any ideas on pulling the cylinder off....? The piston is at tdc and I have the cyl. loose but it wont go more then an 1/8th or so. Im thinking heat on the cyl.and the hammer and block of wood on the piston method. I dont want to add to the damage if possible.
What about some wood wedges under the cylinder as Im tapping th piston?

Any help appreciated.

Get a service manual (clymer or factory) and do it right. I would never hammer the piston out unless I was planning on replacing the cylinder and crankshaft, which I've done a few times. Find out why it is hanging, could be trash in the cylinder or something jammed in the crankshaft, could be the piston ring tip is hung in a port, could be siezed and melted to the walls. Remove the head/pipe/intake port and get a better look at the issue. If all is well, I would loosen the cylinder base and slowly raise it while lovingly tap the the piston out with a rubber hammer and maybe a wooden block. Some might have better ideas. But I would only do this knowing I am sending the motor off for a bigbore, which I always do on a lockup. Why not, it is the same price as rebuilding and plating.
