Stolen Bike in AZ : RECOVERED
« on: October 08, 2003, 05:40:32 AM »
Hi all,

I HATE when I see this happen   :x ...no matter the color of the bike! Brenda (Bike Destroyer) here in AZ had her 02 YZ250F (built by ZipTy Racing) stolen out of her garage. Anyone who knows Brenda knows her passion for riding and her skills as well! This was her baby!

What gives people the right to steal ANYTHING from ANYONE! Grrrr!!!!

ANyhoo...any of you in AZ keep a look out for it. It is pretty distinctive if you get a good look. It has ZipTy stuff all over it...
The things that will stick out the most that they can't likely take off and still ride would be the:

1) Red anodized bar mounts
2) Red anodized axle blocks (chain adjuster blocks)
3) Yosh titanium tri-oval exhaust system
4) The Zip-Ty Hot Start (mounts to handlebar andhas red anodized lever)
5) Iron Man Rear sprocket.
6) Pro Taper bars
7) GPR stabilizer

They even broke into her truck to steal the Tye downs!

The VIN#JYACG10C62A012445

If you see this bike...you know what to do!

Yea, take out the 9mm and empty the clip so they can't steal anything else...

OK, probably not a good solution, but would sure be just punishment.  Heck, in some countries, the thief would be sportin' a stub where his hand used to be...

The bike was recovered!

The dirtbags that stole the bikes (hers and a friends) obviously (and thankfully) were stupid. The bike's were stolen sometime after midnight and were recovered off the street sometime around 2am. They had fallen off the vehicle and sat in the middle of the street until they were picked. Just took a few days to ID the VIN's and get back to her....and with very minimal damage!!!

What luck!!!!
