I think I saw a bike in a magazine that was done by Service Honda.  I think it was a 250 motor in a 150 frame.  I have a KDX200 motor in a KX125 frame.

I know Rick Peterson put a 125 motor in a 80 chassic for a woman motorcrosser, because I bought the 80 motor as spare for my sons race bike. So if jc7622 put a kdx200 in a 125 you might think then the 200 would also fit in the 80 .CBX
Yep, you can ride it - if YOU can start it !!

looks like you have a kx500.  I have been asking around about a 250 2 stroke in a 100 frame or in a cr extpert/big wheel and have not found one.  Service honda makes a 150r with a 250 crf motor.   I found a company/guy in fort worth that puts 125's in 80's and I talked to him about the 250 motor and said it would go best into the crf150r because of the two radiators.  but if you had a newer kx100 00 and up it has a shroud on both sides so I guess you could add a radiator.  I think the 200 two stroke would be perfect and a blast GO FOR IT.
