   decided to add some bling factor to the kx 250 project ( ten bucks later-mothers polish and a polishing pad) about 3 hrs along with bsing on the phone.

Sweet. I did mine last winter. It dulls fast but can be brought back easier now. I tried out the new Mx vs atv too. It is killer. Its got all sorts of crap on there including hillclimbs.

              hillclimb that new game is pretty good  i kinda like the supermoto and the minis. can't beat the entertainment for $38.they got the big 450's and 500's on there? i haven't even gotten to unlock anything yet.

 Ahhh, my buddy has the game. I haven't seen 450's or 500's, but he wants to unlock everything himself. Haven't even seen the SuperMoto part, yet. A fellow hillclimber (Youth #1 Many times) said the code is "Too Lazy" to unlock everything.
  By the way my Favorite polish is Wenol for hand rubbing, and Black Diamond for buffing wheel. Mother's is great for chrome or previously polished parts, these others work on oxidized Aluminum very well.
  Even at $120, polished parts are a good deal

Using a mechanical abrasive on chrome will permanently damage it.

Thanks man!  Seeing your post reminded me that the fork lowers on my street bike were a lil oxidized... so I went out and picked-up some of that Mother's stuff.

Can you post a pic off what the "polishing pad" looks like.  Or perhaps it's packaging?

         here you go g dawg. this buffing pad can be chucked into a regular drill. i used a mixture of rubbing compound and the mother's aluminum polish smeared on the part with the toothbrush. then the second application i use just the mother's polish.
