Thanks I'm waiting on some more skulls to be plasma cut out that will be a more true to my design.I want to make more then just one but I'm not sure what to do about sprockets. I could have them plasma cut out also but they will not have the character of the real deal. When its done the whole buckle will have a black oxide finish like an impact socket.

                                             P.S. that is a kx500 sprocket 8-)

BDI,
Very nice work.  The features of the sprocket definitely add something. Cam.

what about a trailer hitch of a GREEN K with the skull on it . you could paint the k and screw the skull on though the hole in the back of the trailer hitch . just an idea for those of us that don't wear big belt buckels. but i might start wearing biggger bukels . looks cool ( black k with green skull ) ummmmmmmm :| :|
race gas is fast but Q16 hauls azz.i still ride because i am not ready to have been that fast. i ride a kx500 because they don't make a kx600!ck k5abuser on youtube

I would opt for getting the sprockets cut as well.  It will keep with the look you're after.  The way it is now....it just looks like a skull on a sprocket.....kinda back ard-ish.  Maybe not a perfectly round sprocket to match the off-camber angle of the skull.

That's pretty cool like that. i like the contrast. If you make them have the same finish, it will be harder to tell that they are layered. Unless that was your plan to cut it from one piece with the same silouette.
Alot cooler than I thought this thread was about. When I saw the topic, I imagined someone putting a  seat-belt on their bike for safety, or somethin'.

The look I'm going for is an industrial look the whole thing will be mat black. The cool thing about the sprocket is it's an actual kx500 part but the out of round sprocket is a good idea also. I'm also going to make some belt buckles that are just the skull and crossbones.
