I don't know if anyone saw it but there was a little blurb about the Service Honda KX500af - it was on page 24 of the new issue - dont blink you you will miss it

unfortunantly they stopped production of the engines,,

so you have to buy all the parts needed, and assemble the engines.

I know this may seem nosey but do you buy all the bearings and seals from the bike manufacturer or from a bearings supplier?

If so do you use a different specification on any of them?

Just interested more than anything really.

Scott, i missed this.

yes i use all new, original OEM bearings,seals, and,parts in the engines.



at some point in time i may look into  if i can source anything of routinely higher quality..bearing wise.

but at the moment it seems best to simple go with OEM which is tried true ,
and we all know what to expect,,both from my standpoint and the customer buying a KX500AF.
