Am I correct in thinking the FMF Fatty pipe only has two mounts, missing the first stock mount near the cylinder. Thanks, Kenny

That is incorrect. There are 3 mounts: near the cylinder, next to the radiator on top, and at the back part of the frame.

I'm wondering if maybe I have an early pipe. It does not have the mount near the cylinder. It fits fine other than the "missing" mount.

I have seen that before on older FMF 500 pipes unsure what year range. My 87 PC pipe doesn't have that lower mount nor did the bike, works fine but the pipe has alot more of a solid mount with that lower mount.
