Collars for my bike so I can run new style top clamp would be great . I think next month I'm buying a new clamp so we can have something to work with.

I purchased a set of cones from Scotts today. Hope they help. I didnt realize how much play I had till I checked.

Yes I have several lathes. I dont even have time to do what I need to do let alone what I want to do. Thanks for the links I will pick one and run.
   I have a cool mount that I want to adapt to my KX500AF and I can't seem to find the time to make these little critters. Thanks again.

I have some polyurithane cones that I got from the guys at gpr. I like em they are some where between the rubber and aluminum.

do the polys vibrate like the rubbers.

Rubbers vibrate the least, Poly in between rubber & solid, Solid you feel ALOT of the harmonics.

The front end of the bike has so much more postive feel to it with solid mounts. I used the polys on 87 kx500 and made a huge diff in the front end for handling. Old thread here, brings back memories.
