Sounds like its running very good...
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I warmed it up for about 5 minutes 6 months ago with the old gas in it but I have not ridden it since last October. With 500 parts becoming scarce I've gotten a little apprehensive about putting hours on it. Just put some new gas on top of the year old gas and it ran very good! Maybe the Red Line premix oil I use has some long term storage properties?

Tom Morgan loves Redline products.
I use to run Redline but switched 10 years ago to Motul 800.
I had no issues with Redline,,
I think the Redline burns cleaner than the Motul..
But if your jetting is good you won't have issues with either.

I've been using Red Line for over 15 years with no issues. It also has a very high flash point as far as synthetics go so I think that's a plus if the bike runs a little lean or on the hot side. Las Vegas can get a little toasty too! A lot of NHRA Top Fuel and Funny Car use Red Line racing oils.
