Is your dealer a Parts Unlimited dealer :?:  Parts Unlimited has everthing you need. May need to contact Mooose Racing. Do a seach for Moose Racing I am unsure of their website name. Got a local machine shop near by :?:  It can be made out of 3/8 alumn. stock. I made mine on a mill use the gasket as a pattern.

Mine is a Moose and it did come from a Parts Unlimited dealer! They are way to cheep to have a machine make one for you! I have a small machine shop as a part of my business and I wouldn't even make one for my self!

As I recall the width was .308 not .375 if you were go that extra little bit your carb will hit the frame!

EDKX  I  too got mine from a Parts Unlimited dealer and it is a moose. I have a plasma cutter and a vertical mill but decided that I cannot make one for $25 ( USD) By time I bought six longer bolts, two reed gaskets, the aluminum, I would be close to Twenty bucks. Then to spend two hours cutting and milling the spacer only to "save" five bucks, I realized that the Moose product is a good deal for $25. I am sure if I tried to wheel and deal I could have gotten a discount . I hope someone close to you sells Moose products and perhaps you could even find a used one at a bike salvage yard.

I can't help find one in Canada. But Parts Unlimited will have it.
I have a friend that works at House of Kawasaki, he can save me any where from 5% to 40% depending on mark up of the part. He ordered mine from Parts Unlimited my cost was $22. plus tax. The stock bolts had a 8mm head, new bolts that came with spacer had 10 mm head, not as easy to work with. If spacer is any thicker you will have carb to frame clearence problem. Most people can't make one cheaper, comes with 2 gaskets and the bolts. Hard to beat. It's tight before the spacer, I used a cotter key puller to get air intake boot on the back side of carb. I washed the bike real good before install. Then took the air hose to blow off any thing the wash didn't remove.

With the spacer I also added a new pipe.

And added a new silencer.

$99.99

KAWASAKI KX500'88-04 ISDE SILENCER

Don't forget a pipe guard. I haven't installed it yet. It seams like it won't fit, I will try to install it today. I'll keep you posted on the fit.
