Danny Hamel's Desert Rocketship
« on: November 06, 2017, 02:52:44 PM »
I've been a member of the AMA, American Motorcyclist Association for ten years.
I encourage all members of KXRiders and anyone reading this post to help support the AMA.
They go to bat for all motorcyclist.  When politicians try to pass laws that jeopardize our rights
as motorcycle riders, they step up to the plate for us. Off-road, street, racing....all of us.
When you become a member of the AMA you not only receive product discounts you also
receive the American Motorcyclist magazine.
I called the AMA and was given permission to copy and post this article from the August 2016 issue.

I never read that on the articulating headlights... I want some...
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I love that they made the headlights sweep slower than the handlebars.  It shows you how much thought goes in to works bikes.
Perhaps I have a dirt bike addiction?

My first KX500 had a Danny Hamel the Best There Ever Was sticker on the tip of the front fender.

Never been able to find another one for sale.  Would totally put that on my AF.
