Yep... Same color we did Sean Colliers bike in.

Frame looks great!  I love the green.  I had mine powder coated in black but would probably go green on the next one.

This forum needs a thumbs up button 8-) this bike is going to be very special! Kiwi green is about as close as you can get to original, I saw it on another site and then ordered loads of samples which confirmed it is the way to go!!!

I compared a sample that was powder coated Kiwi green to my 88 KX500 frame.
The 88 is a little darker but unless you compare them side by side you really can't see the difference..
Although the Kiwi looks a bit brighter...  :-o  :-D

This cylinder was beat...bad...
It was sleeved and whoever did it had the sleeve badly misaligned not only vertically but also on the radius  :-o
Because it was in such bad condition and I really don't like sleeves I never thought I would be using it.
But, I have some test I want to do and if I jack this cylinder up I don't really care...
Ok... I do care but not as much as some of the nicer cylinder I have  8-)
Before..

Before we sent it out to have it bored and decked we did a rough bore and then did some preliminary port work.
Then we sent it to Tom Morgan Racing to have it final bored and decked...
Tom does very nice work.
I have not checked the bore yet but I'm sure it will mic out perfectly... or close enough for this cylinder  :-D
After

I think a little Cerakote Clear on this will keep it looking fresh for at least a few days

Lol...
Yeah, everyone has been asking me about that build.
As I have said before I didn't know that bike existed until a few months ago.
I'm sure it's gotta be a hoot to ride in the woods... or just about anywhere...
The cool thing is, there will be some key differences between his build and mine so stay tuned  8-)
