1996 kx250 CYLINDER ON A 1998?

can you use a 1996 cylinder on a 1998 KX250? Also are other parts interchangeable? Such as cases clutch baskets?  Thanks Ken

You can use the 1996 Cylinder (with ALL power valve parts) on the 1998, but IMO, the 1998 Cylinder (#1851) is much better.
