kx450 spring kit
« on: July 09, 2016, 10:06:57 AM »
I got hold of the new kx450 16 spring kit from race tech , fitted it and tested it at my test track after my young fella raved about how good it was , first thing i noticed was how plush it was and how it soaked the small bumps up , another step up the ladder as these forks allready had the glide kit installed as well which was a rung up on the std forks , so if you are scared of air go spring it well worth the money and there spring kits for kyb air forks coming out to , remember these forks slide straight in to a std k5 triple clamps so you can use the 270 mm front brake as well , i tried this with the 15 showa air forks and felt it was better so with the spring kit it would be great and you dont need the d**n pump any more.

The spring that I bought and installed was extremely weak.  It was not strong enough to make any significant difference.  I dont remember where I got it.   My thoughts are if you want to improve the trigger buy a quality product.  I just didnt want to change the original sniper concept, although the rifle is not an "original"  sniper.

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
