KX125 '89 gearbox
« on: April 01, 2016, 09:35:07 PM »
Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, I'm new to this forum.
Can anyone advise me if the gearbox from a '88 KX125 will fit directly into an '89 kx 125. Or if necessary what modifications need to be made.
Many thanks

The info I have says, "SHAFTS FIT 89-93 KX125, GEARS FIT 89-91 KX125"
I have never looked at swapping pre 89 stuff..
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I have a bunch of gears and shafts left from my 89 KX125 rebuild.  Hit me up if you need anything.
