I like where this is going! What did it take to convert it? I have the bottom end completely disassembled so now is the time for modifications. Did you have to replace the entire output shaft?

It will be harder when disasembled. I did mine when it was together I installed  a old sprocket and carefully with a cut off wheel cut a grove up against the sprocket . The Oring behind the sprocket coller needs to have some pressure on it for it to not leak so get the grove as close to the sprocket as you can or you will have to shim up the space. Tecates are horrible for leaking at the counter shaft due to thinner after market sprockets I always fight to get them shimmed correctly  The nut on your 85 actually worked real good for keeping the leaks down if only they were available new.

Found that a 2003 CR85 steering stem nut is the same size thread as the front sprocket nut, got one for $10 shipped. M24x1.0. Honda pn 90304-425-000

Starting to clean/inspect the lower end. Ran across this monstrosity. The guy butchered the drain plug hole threads. Might have to weld up some material and machine a new hole and sealing surface.

Hey guys. Have the transmission apart now. Looking for some guidance to deem these gears okay to use or not. Some of the dogs are fairly rounded along with the mating grooves. I expect there to be some but Im not familiar with the service limit.

Brought the crank into work today and got it nice and true. First time doing it. Wasn't too bad really. It was running .007" wider 180° from the pin. Got the run out at .001" by the time I was done. It was a little over .004" before I started

Rear wheel for the supermono conversion. Plan on doing a full build over the winter..

Just got the oil drain hole finished up...much better!!
