Hey sorry guys had a death in the family and then my truck trans took a s**t, but i finally got the cylinder off and now im lookin for someone to help me reassemble the powervalve correctly. The kawasaki c;ymer manual is crap, please and thanks guys

I found this video on YouTube that details a 2000 rebuild.  The parts fiche show that the 2000 is similar to yours, so it might help you get it timed and back together.  If not, you might call Millennium Technologies about putting your KIPS back together.  They did my 2004 cylinder replate, and they also took out the power valve, cleaned it, and reassembled it for me.

Ok thanks umberto, how much did millenium charge? and how long did it take to get back? And I feel like i could do it if I could see the timing marks on the rod and also the valve guides are stuck in? i cant work them out? these are the power valve videos I have been watching but my parts are coming out as easily as theirs?

I don't think it was more than $50.  Make sure and mention that you had your cylinder re-done there.

Ok thanks guys! you are the best!~ so im picking up my cylinder tomorrow morning and wondering if you guys had any hints or tips for reassembling cylinder? do i just hold the rings on piston with my fingers while i try to slide cylinder over piston? and what about the powervalve sticking off the right side of the cylinder? please and thanks guys!
