It will be nice if they move away from being repainted KTMs. I would still take a 300 any day of the week.

I got to ride one a few years ago in some very sloppy conditions and loved the way it could be lugged or revved. In Australia everything is expensive and the KTM's are the same price as the equivelant jap bikes. At least we can road register them!

The FEs can be street titled.  The 4CS fork was a last minute throw together and not fully tested.  Not impressed with the performance.  The fwd mount on the linkage bolt is easy to mess up, if you have worked on a KTM also you know what I mean.  It has a nut with a flat side that barely engages and when you go to remove it if you don't heat ot up to soften the 20lbs of loctite, it will back off 6mm and bugger up the frame.  There is also not way of holding it.  Air box noise on the 4t bikes is still the worst in the industry.  Not sure when KTM is also going to realize the tapered spline shifter is a crap design too.  I have too many rides buggered up from a KTM shifter slipping and or break/ coming off.  But, I get a lot of them in my shop so keep on buying them fellas and I will keep fixing em up

Does anyone else miss the yellow fork guards?  I thought it was a nice link back to the awesome 80s models with the dual shocks.  They were outclassed as motocrossers, but man they looked cool.

One of my biggest beefs with KTM/Husky.  They are a pain to work on for being the "leader" in off road, dual sport and enduro bikes.  I am never happy to work on them.  I don't get done and say to myself, "That was really fun".  Usually there is a copious about of profanity and slander towards Germans, I know "Austria".  Anyone see the new Honda African twin?

That is so true.  They are well engineered, but much more complicated than the Japanese bikes.  I would rather take one of my Kawasakis completely apart than do anything on my pumpkins.
