Barnett, Tusk, DP, to name a few...and most all the top-name aftermarket brands are good.
I myself only run oem...only because Hinson doesn't/won't make a COMPLETE clutch pack for the 500.
Excuse me, ma'am...but you've got extremely nice legs!!!...what time do they open???                                                                                                               https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8tCgN3aryQ

depends on how often you want to change the oil....I have yet to burn out a stock clutch, in nearly 40 years.
I've never found an aftermarket clutch that I like over the precise feel the stock alloys give at the lever, besides the complete Hinson pack.
I dump my oil after every 4-5 hours of riding...and even sooner if I do only trails, as I'm using the clutch more.

I haven't used a Kevlar/carbon fiber, so I can't help you there.

and because I change the oil so often...I had my buddy make me this slick drain plug, so that I'm not constantly wearing the threads in my cases....

you're welcome....but just be prepared to change the oil a lot if you go that route!...the alloy plates contaminate the oil very quickly.

I'm very anal about the "feel" at the lever...that's the only reason why I use the stock alloy clutch.

That's a great idea!  I may have to steal that for a bike or two.  Did you come up with it, or did you see it somewhere?
Perhaps I have a dirt bike addiction?

no, my buddy had mentioned it before, because I was so worried about the threads in the cases not lasting from constant oil changes. So I bought a brand new oem drain plug, and he took it to work(he's a machinist), and hooked a brother up.
He even made one for his KX450.
