I have not had a sugary type drink in a long time but now they say the diet stuff is bad for you. I like diet Mt. Dew so have a few of those a week for quick caffeine. That bacon taco looks awesome! As do the ribs! Had 'fixed up' beans and jalapeņo cheddar burgers for lunch. Yum!

well im 42 years old now. ive done pretty much opposite of how i have been told i should do them since i can remember. which doesnt really say too much when for the most part if it happened beyond 5 minutes ago, then i couldnt tell you anyway. but, seriously for me i have to say there is one pain i have from an injury i didnt get the treatment for that i should have i regret not having done so. i had my right arm pulled through a sheet rock bundling machine when i was 20 and i would say i broke my wrist and the back of my hand. i dealt with it because i needed the job and was sure i would lose the job if i reported it.  now  i wake up and my hand is frequently numb. worse than that though is its my throttle hand. i take it as long as i can when im out on my bike, frequently have to let off and shake my right arm until the sensation comes back into  it. its a painful M'er F'er when it does ...but ill never give up the ride...

Try to tell your kids, better to take 6 weeks & heal up than live with it for the rest of your life 8-).
Tweaked my back , then jack hammered concrete at work about the time it started feeling better on 2 different projects. Be nice if you could make your younger self live in the old body for a bad day. To be young & dumb again

It's tough to find a good drink that is not full of sugar, not artificially sweetened, and not water.  Unsweet tea is about it.  I gave up sugar about two months ago, and have lost about 25 pounds depending on the day.  I am now about at my natural weight, as I'll need to shed muscle to lose much more.  I didn't really modify my diet, besides trying not to eat after dinner, and no grazing in the kitchen on granola bars, cheese, walnuts, etc.  I've tried the no grazing and not eating late before, but taking out sugar really made the difference.  My cholesterol and blood pressure are really improving as well.  It sucks at dessert time though.  Oh, and I would kill for a Dr. Pepper!   :-D
Perhaps I have a dirt bike addiction?

I did break down & buy water to suck on at work , do feel a bit better. Couldn't cut out the surgery stuff completely though, power aid was on sale, so it's been more of an add water than just water.

Might just be that I've been riding 2 weekends in row though :-D
