2012 kx250afc build

Hey guys im new here, my friend suggested this forum to me. So I got a 2012 kx250f roller and a 04 kx250. So far ive got the motor in the 250f frame just to see how it looks and get an idea of what it should look like. Im new to doing this conversion but ive done a lot of studying prior to the build, so I know what I need to do to the frame. Im not an aluminum fabricater so if anyone could help me with some suggestions on where I can get frame rails, a headstay and even if possible a new yoke. I tried contacting jfab but no answer. Thanks! Also I have no idea how to use this forum yet such, as posting pictures. It might be because im using my iphone haha.

Welcome to the forum.
My advice right from the get go is be patient around here. We're a small group of niche people so don't get discouraged easily.

To address your questions:
- 6061 or 6063 1x1" .125 wall minimum tubing, get a fat radius corner.
The material will be CHEAP. as in sub 15$ cheap.

finding a radiused edge tubing will take a bit more work though.

I've heard people having issues with 6061 since its annealed already and can crack easier. I went with 6063 since i plan to heat treat my frame anyway

Thank you so much for the response. I realize the group is small and I have to be patient. That is fine with me. All that matters is I know I will get the answers I need here. I got that aluminum tubing today. Im getting it bent tomorrow. Please let me know about the yoke and headstay! I could probably reuse the old yoke but forsure a headstay would be nice to have. I also saw a lot of honda conversion parts on ebay. Would some of thos work such as mounts and yolk?

Head stay design is critical. Keeps the load off the frame rails.
