Is this the John Wayne or Chuck Norris approach?

John Wayne. Because it involves a tractor. Not a grenade.

And with all the money I saved not buying a new exhaust I can buy more parts for my bike

Or more beer lol

I prefer the fire method but I am quite the fire bug :P

I bet Muriatic Acid would work on the expansion chamber great. It's cheap at your local hardware store, pool supply store. Maybe even at walmart?

One cross look from Chuck Norris and the carbon would run out of there with its tail between its legs, crying like a little girl.

Problem solved.

I've used either real coarse salt or water softener rock salt with isopropyl alcohol. Shake and soak, you can hear how clean it's getting by the noise of the salt on the pipe.   Fill maybe half full plug the ends and shake by hand. If it's real bad do it when pipe is warm(not hot) and you may need to do second or 3rd wash. Works for me because I have any one of the mentioned products at home in big quantities.

Whatever works for ya. New parts are great too
