Ok, I did some more research at Kawasaki's website and Partzilla.
www.Kawasaki.com
85 kx125 41034-1114
86 kdx200  41034-1146
87-88 kdx200 41034-1157

Partzilla.com
http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/kawasaki/KP-41034-1114.html
This Kawasaki 41034-1114 DRUM-ASSY,RR BRAKE is used on these models and components: 1985 KX125-D1 KX125

http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Kawasaki/Motorcycle/1986/KDX200-C1+KDX200/REAR+HUB/parts.html
This Kawasaki 41034-1146 DRUM-ASSY,RR BRAKE is used on these models and components: 1986 KDX200-C1 KDX200 REAR HUB

http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/kawasaki/KP-41034-1157.html
This Kawasaki 41034-1157 DRUM-ASSY,REAR BRAKE is used on these models and components:
1987 KDX200-C2 KDX200 REAR HUB
1988 KDX200-C3 KDX200 REAR HUB

So Kawasaki, Partzilla, and my physical measurements agree.
That being said, 86-88 kdx200 rear hubs have the same casting number embossed on them and the same physical measurements. Probably just a color change.
But, the 85 kx125 rear hub is different then the kdx200's .... but, I think there is a good chance that the 85 kx125 kx250 and kx500 may be the same.
Before you buy, simply ask the seller for measurements.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

so there is a glitch in the Kawie fiche...even my local Kawies website still shows as everything has been overseen as the 41034-1157.
It does show the old part numbers that you have listed...but Rocky Mountain, Motosport, and my local Kawie dealer all show the 1157 replacing the other numbers.

thanks for taking the time to look that up!

looked at 3 kdx 200 wheels yesterday from the 80s but no bike so not sure what year.  Bad news is none of them fit they all seem to be narrower in the hub.

How do u think i would go repairing this drum with some metal mend.  The bike will never be raced its just a second bike and something for the wife to ride,  If I can get it smooth enough i would think it just might hold up to the task.  Any thoughts?

I was wondering if there's enough meat there to have it machined smooth, then press in a steel liner...might not be cost effective...you'd have to look into it.

I sent the guy a few questions about sizes and ID numbers.
We'll see if he responds.

Jumpin in at half speed here. I screwed around with my 1980 CR 80 rear wheel for 2 weeks before I figured out it was actually a 77 Yamaha wheel and axle. Are you certain your wheel is original.

Where the Hell is "Easy Street" ?

His measurements match what I have recorded for a 1985 kx125.
Since 85 was the only year drum brake with a 20mm axle I think he has the correct wheel.

yes thanx is it worth the 120 AUD  :|  landed at my door I will ask him some more questions about the drum as i can see small scratch mark same spot as mine.  If I dont have to repair then the price is ok.
