Alot of reading  deff need to read that a few times. So far im understanding that id need to trim off the ears and something about the tensioner

That's a start.
VF2's have a low tension setting for lower end torque and a high tension setting for better mid to top end.
Then you can modify the boot further to gain a bit more even flow.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Any videos on this?  I will be sending the bike off to be ported so more flow is good dont want anything hindering it

Trimming the ears.. is tht only or clearance issues or does tht improve performance over stock cage

Blaster you also mentioned larry doing a decompression mod. How exactly does tht work. Is he the only one who does it  can you buy a kit to do it urself or a local shop to install it
