96 kx 250 bottom end noise
« on: June 26, 2014, 11:29:42 AM »
I recently rebuilt my 96 kx 250 top end this video is from the first start up, I noticed this bottom end noise. I know I will have some noise (clutch basket was grooved so I knocked down the high spots) but this noise is still here when the clutch is pulled, I also ran it on low oil in the case because I was told it was filled, but it took another half quart, so I'm hoping it did no damage

Lay your bike on the left side, remove your clutch cover (Won't have to drain the oil), pull the clutch asy out, look for damage.... Something is not right in there.
Also, take pics of the basket so we can see it's condition.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
