compass/camera mount,

hey guys,
the guys with me here at the airfield hangar we work at doing prototype mods on military aircraft, the metal guys here came up with an idea for me to mount a formed piece of .080 sheetmetal (tempered) under the handlebar bracket and it bends sharply back over the top crossbar with reliefs.
they cut radius corners in it and shaped it, looks as if it were factory.
it's secure, no vibration/flex and you can mount anything on it. my dig cam stays dry and out of the spray of debris from the trails., mag compass also shows real time direction, where i ride there are many trails that are covered by a tree canopy, trails also have outlet trails in them so going back the way you came can be a challenge.
this thing mounted as well as 4.0 gal tank and the trail tech cpu that i'm looking at will be a great mod to the bike, i think it's an enduro now..
in the next pics i add i'll show the too-sweet and thick skid plate that they made for me. it's winglets can hold the weight of the bike alone.
thanks, jdv         ok, ready pg-7 gallery
