« on: April 26, 2014, 03:23:25 PM »
here is my rebuild of my kx250 2002 not finished yet, but almost. I don't have alot of pictures about my build but always fun to share.

here is the kx with my brother's rm250 2002

the first 2 hours of dis-assembly

My work bench and my tool box

my first order tires, cables, all the bearing (suspension, swing-arm, linkage) fork seal and bushing...

My cylinder was done and my piston had a crack on the skirt (no pic of the piston

test fit some color (painted old plastic too see) and my ebay pipe

polished the exhaust tip, painted the tube and repacked it, looks like new

Bought new gear

my shock completely rebuild with new race tech spring

My new cylinder

My roller both suspension rebuild + all bearing, repoked rear wheel and new tires

engine rebuild time...                                                                                                                  DONE

had to modify a intake boot that i bought on ebay from a kx250 1995 they are the same except for the notch in the corner for carb clearance

it is almost done still waiting on the clutch hub and a water pump bearing the number plate will be black and the fork guards too

he rode it about 5 times (first bike of his life) and he wrecked it, dislocating his shoulder so....
but its a great bike the power is more on top of the rpm and it corner better than the kx with the same suspensions, its a good bike.

no just gasket matched with the case, but will probably send the old one for a big bore job + porting next winter.
