Yes Have the APT 40MM. Set it up at 5,000 feet and unloaded at 10,000 feet and it runs perfect. not used to the plug looking perfectly tan and no oil dripping everywere.

have you noticed any run on or surge when you back off after a decent twist of the throttle.?? is it better all over the rev range?

I remember when it 1st became available, they were going for around $5K. :|...
curious to see if the price has dropped any since then.

Works awesome no draw backs that I can find. Just runs perfect. Nothing like the stock KX carb.

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Its about5,500 for a ST and 6,500 for the LT. Then you start modifying from there. Prices aren't dropping

40MM billet only have 4 rides in the snow so far. the amazing thing is when i got it adjusted at a much lower altitude the it ran perfect at 10,000 feet.

No More Jetting and when you take it apart its supper simple.

I was looking for a 40mm cast to save some money but didn't see it as an option. I would love to try 1

38mm is the only cast available now. But im sure there coming. what ive heard the 38 cast works pretty good on the CR500 but the 40 works better on the KX.

Sweet! I have been thinking hard about this conversion all summer. I am an avid sled rider and have ridden a few of the Husabergs and Suzuki with the Radix and Timbersled kits on the snowbikes. I am just getting my K5 back together and curious to see if its really worth buying the kit and making the switch to a snowbike?

My bike is a 99 with an 89 motor. Questions being, is there much modification to make the Timbersled fit? How is the torque curve with the track setup? I ride low elevation. 1000-3500' and wondering about jetting with the stock carb? I have only seen the 4 strokes in action, besides a few short u tube vids on the k5 and very little info on the performance.

I would think the thing would RIP!  Please tell me more, as I am very curious to see results and possibly get this for mine. Any info would be much appreciated.
