From ME..

Yes if you watch close, it went over 9K rpm.   the datalog didnt catch it for final readout......     Blip as fast as you can open and close the throttle.

Those turbine core pipes really muffle the "bark" that pipes like USMC500's have witht their straight through shot

From Kxpegger   (link to thread    http://www.kxriders.com/forums/index.php/topic,11358.msg89720.html#msg89720 .)

I was further up so I didn't get to witness it! Kevin doing the recording on the Yamaha barely got stopped in time. They were both laughing about it! No one got hurt.

A clip of a woods ride yesterday, need to tweek the camera angle a little but not too bad for a free camera. We did just over 30 miles in this area, loaded up and did another 20 closer to town fun day and going riding in Tillamook tomorrow, hope to get some better footage.

I agree......that two stroke is definitely not running right.
I once heard my buddy Bill ask Danny Hamel after a race....
"How can someone who looks like a high school band tuba player go so d**n fast on a bike?!"

Here is a video I found from last summer. We rode the 24 hrs of Maplesville course a couple of weeks after the race.
My KX is outnumbered 20 to 1 by the KTM's . They seem to reign supreme in the woods of Alabama.
