will anything off  84 kx 250 motor work or fit on a 98 kx 250, if anyone knows please help and thanks

Find the 84 model and scroll to the right.
Look at what years the parts fit as you go.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

old thread... but i have to say, i own a 83 and a 97 kx250 thats similar the same as your 84 to 98 question  :-)

if you look good, you´ll see the motors are not identic ...only the standard bolts and nuts you can share between them.
crank seals and con rod are equal used in the kx 250 from 1980 up to 2008 (same oem part numbers)

big 2 stroke bikes are weapons for real men, who don´t fear death or devil. ;O)
´83 kx250, ´87 kx250 (with 360 big bore), 87 kx500, ´93 kx500 sfc
