According to the book the clutch arm FITS 90 KX250 and 90-04 KX500.
The 89 kx250 uses one that FITS 88-89 KX250 & KX500.
I looked at pics of both arms and they look very similar (89 kx250 and 90-04 kx500).
I don't have any to measure  :-(
