I found something interesting/surprising while shopping for new OEM shrouds.while on Mid West Actions' site,I looked up the shrouds for my 95 K5....part #'s 49089-5229-6w and 49089-5230-6w,for $69.96 each....which I was expecting at least that much each.Then for s%*ts and giggles,I looked up the shrouds for an 04 K5...huh,different part #'s.They list as 49089-1087-6w and 49089-1088-6w....and they're $43.15 each!!. Big difference.I was always under the assumption that these would be the same,and maybe they are with just different part #'s.Does anyone know if Kawie made any changes to the shrouds....or has anyone used different year shrouds with such a wide spread of years with any issues?

I believe (not 100% positive) when you purchase OEM Kawi plastics they will come with decals. So hence the two different p/n between years.

I looked into whether the decals will come with them...for the 95,they don't,I'd have to pay $45 a piece for them according to Kawie....I'm unsure if they will for the 04s' because I did'nt ask about the 04s'.I just ordered the 04 shrouds,because they were nearly $30 a piece cheaper than the 95s'.If for some reason they're no good to me,I'll exchange them.I was lucky enough to find a brand new set of the OEM N-Style 2000 graphics at a store I used to go to years ago last weekend for $40,that's what I'd like to use.

Sometimes Kawi ships panels decaled, sometimes they don't. I know there is a way to tell how by the structure of the OEM p/n . I can't remember exactly how the numbers/letters work. sorry.
