Cool thanks guys. looks like I'm missing a couple parts. I didn't realise the spools have chains on them and I didn't know I was missing what ever the little arms are on truing arm.

Well not exactly new :-) I found this stand in my buddies grandmothers yard yesterday. It has been there for untold years. I have never seen one like it before, I'm guessing it's very old. It says made in japan tanaka tool co. HTK. A full resto has already begun. If anyone knows anything about this stand I would love to know :?
is that a cat d11 or d10 bogie roller in the lower right corner of the picture? what the heck are you doing with that, making some retro roller skates?
oh yah, thats right, i remember the old steel wheeled roller skates. yes, i am THAT old!
That's crazy you noticed the roller. It's for a komatsu excavator, I found it on a job I was grubbing brand new with the sticker still on it. we could not figure out where it came from because we were the first ones there to do work other then the surveyors.

have you tried to sell the roller? maybe the komatsu dealer in vegas would buy it. you never know till ya ask.
