Blue side panels
« on: May 15, 2010, 08:42:36 AM »
Hi,
My bike from -89 has blue side panels and I'm almost sure that it's the one that was on the bike when delivered as new. Is there any one that know the history around those ones? Was is some add on that you could order? Just to look like the factory bike at that time?

The problem is that only the first bike is mine.. The second one was as a example of how a factory bike looked like at that time. But I agree.. it's a beautiful bike!!

I know the european KXs from that era had blue side panels from the factory. I remember seeing them on 88 and 89 KX250 and 500s.
A couple of 03 and 04 KXs, a few YZs, 3 PE 400s, a DR and a TS.
