Kwakman, I'm glad to see that you have replaced an unhealthy addiction with a healthy one!
Before I got into tech school, I had done a ton of s**theaded things, but I realized that my folks were not going to take care of me forever, so it was up to me to do it myself. I figured out that if I didn't straighten up, I would never get a decent job.
That was the best turning point of my life, and I am very happy with where it has landed me!
